How do I book or reschedule an appointment?
On our Contact page you can get in touch with us and we can figure out together what date will be the best. The $50 booking fee is required before your date and time is secured on the schedule. If something comes up and you can’t make your scheduled appointment, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance and we will work out a better time for you.
How long will it be before my photo’s are complete?
Depending on how many concurrent clients are booked, it could take up to one month for your pictures to be fully ready for delivery. That process can be expedited for a small fee if desired.
Do I get the copyright to my photo’s?
After your photo’s are complete, you will receive a Print Release (along with your link to the online gallery) that will allow you to print the images at any printshop you wish to use. Copyright and Ownership of the images will be retained by Northvale Photography.
How will I get my pictures?
I will notify you as soon as the photos are complete. You will receive a link via email to an online gallery that will contain all of your high-res photographs. The gallery is shareable and is also able to assist you with acquiring high quality prints of your photographs. I can also provide an SD card or thumb drive with the photos if requested for an additional fee.
What should I wear?
For your photographs to come out the best, it is recommended that you stick to basic solid colors. Patterns and vibrant/ neon colors can have a negative impact on the overall image. It is also recommended to avoid very bright and colorful makeup. Natural tones will go a long way to enhancing the end result of your photos. If you have a specific theme in mind, that is certainly something we can talk about as you prepare for your appointment.
I feel very awkward/ unphotogenic, will you help with posing?
Of course! You are certainly not alone in feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera. I would say most people feel the same! Part of my job as your photographer is to make sure that you feel confident in not only the results of your pictures, but also feel comfortable while we are working together on site. I will help with posing and making sure that you have a good environment behind you through the entire process!
